In the recent past,hand me downs was a normal practice in all families.The younger siblings would routinely use the clothes,shoes,books and toys of their elder peers.This was a way of keeping family traditions and values intact.It not only helped to strengthen the family bonds but also helped to avoid unnecessary expenditure.
If this idea could be extended all over the world it might lead to more cohesiveness and friendliness everywhere.People would not only learn about other cultures but it would also help to save the planet by reducing the use of scarce natural resources.
