The world today is dominated by notions of artificial scarcity.Even though there are enough natural resources to meet the basic needs-food,clothing,shelter and education of the entire world,there is large scale deprivation due to the resistance to change on the part of the powers that be. They have created an environment of fear,insecurity and suspicion in people and made them selfish and weak.They have deliberately damaged the social fabric to perpetuate their stranglehold on society.
A holistic attitude on the part of a substantial number of people across the world can ensure the emergence of economics of plenty.A greater responsibility lies on the part of the affluent sections of society to create an atmosphere of goodwill,generosity and cooperation in the deprived parts of the world.
Since women are naturally endowed with intuition,nurture,strength and sacrifice,they will have to take the initiative to build a society based on cooperation and team-work rather than on greed and exploitation.
